The Civic Uniqueness Pass that you obtain after completing uniqueness verification is non-transferable and can only be connected to one wallet per blockchain.
If you want to have a Civic Uniqueness Pass issued to a different wallet address, you’ll need to first revoke the existing uniqueness verification on that blockchain.
- If you wish to revoke uniqueness verification and have a Civic Uniqueness Pass issued to a different wallet address, go to https://revoke.civic.com/uniqueness.
- Complete a video selfie.
- Select the wallet address from which you’d like your uniqueness verification revoked and confirm on the “Are you sure” screen that you wish to proceed with the revocation of your uniqueness verification.
All data associated with your uniqueness verification will be removed within 7 days of receiving your request. The date on which the deletion will take place will be displayed on the screen.
Once your data has been deleted, go to the dApp you wish to connect with, select Uniqueness Verification from the drop-down list, connect your desired wallet and complete uniqueness verification again. Please keep in mind that you will not be able to use the previous wallet address to obtain a Civic Uniqueness Pass once you have successfully revoked your previous uniqueness verification.
