You can get a Civic ID Verification Pass when you are prompted to do so by a requesting dApp or DEX. You can complete the full verification process on either your desktop or your mobile device. If your desktop doesn't have a webcam, then use your mobile device.
Desktop
- Connect your wallet, agree to the Terms & Conditions and Biometric Policy, then click Start Verification.
- Verify ownership of your wallet, read the Self-Declaration carefully and agree to it, then verify your email address.
- Complete a video selfie using your webcam then upload a .jpeg or .png of your identity document.
- Thereafter, you'll wait a few minutes to a few hours depending on volume to get a response via email letting you know if your verification was successful or not.
Please keep in mind that your wallet provider page will open in a new tab or window. The tab/window must remain open otherwise it will disconnect your wallet from the Civic Pass and you will have to begin the process again.
DMobile: Android
If you're trying to get a Civic ID Verification Pass issued on Solana, use the Phantom app's internal web browser and go to the dApp or DEX webpage or you can go directly to https://getpass.civic.com.
If you're trying to get a Civic ID Verification Pass issued on an EVM network, use Google Chrome browser and go to the dApp or DEX webpage or you can go directly to https://getpass.civic.com. Select the Connect button, then the Wallet Connect option then your preferred EVM wallet provider. You'll need to have your preferred wallet provider's app installed on your mobile device beforehand.
- Connect your wallet, agree to the Terms & Conditions and Biometric Policy, then click Start Verification.
- Verify ownership of your wallet, read the Self-Declaration carefully and agree to it, then verify your email address.
- Complete a video selfie using your mobile device's front camera then upload a .jpeg or .png of your identity document by taking a picture of it using your mobile device's rear camera.
- Thereafter, you'll wait a few minutes to a few hours depending on volume to get a response via email letting you know if your verification was successful or not.

You can also use your Chrome or Safari web browser go to the dApp or DEX webpage or you can go directly to https://getpass.civic.com. Click on the 'Connect' button and use the 'WalletConnect' option to connect to your desired EVM wallet provider. You'll need to have your preferred wallet provider's app installed on your mobile device beforehand.
