Before deleting your data and/or account, please withdraw all balances from Civic Wallet to an external wallet or exchange. Thereafter:
1. Go to Menu
2. Go to Settings
3. Under Settings, select Request Account Deletion.
This will create a support ticket to which we'll reply with the next steps. You may also submit a support ticket and request account deletion.
Your account must have a zero balance before it can be closed. When you send BTC out of your account, please make sure that you have enough funds to cover the transaction fee. Please note that this fee is not paid to Civic, it is paid to Bitcoin miners.
Civic collects data for legal and identity verification purposes only. Civic does not sell user data to third parties. If you would like to obtain a copy of all personally identifiable information stored by Civic, please submit a support request.
You may also request the deletion of some of your data. Please note that data subject to regulatory retention or record keeping requirements will not be deleted until such requirements have been met. The deletion of any stored data will result in loss of services to Civic Wallet.
