There are two ways to get back into your Civic account:
- Restore from backup, or
- Create a new account and complete Account Recovery
Restore from backup:
- Download the Civic App from the Play Store or App Store
- Select I already have an account ** If you’re using an Android device, you’ll need to choose the Google account you used to store your backup. If you’re using an iOS device, you’ll need to be signed into the iCloud account already, so the Civic app can detect the existing backup.
- Complete the video selfie and create a passcode
Thereafter, you’ll have access to your account. If you used the previous version of the Civic app and had cryptocurrency wallets with funds therein, please contact our Support team so that we can initiate Fund Recovery if applicable.
Account Recovery:
If you are unable to successfully restore your account from backup then you may recover your account following the steps in this article.
Fund Recovery:
Team Civic will investigate your account for fund discovery. If funds are located, we will reach out to begin the fund recovery process.
