In order to use Civic Wallet, you must meet these minimum requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Must have an appropriate National ID from a supported country. Please see our list of supported identity documents.
Important note: the identity document must clearly show your date of birth, the issuing country, the type of document, and your full name.
Unsupported Countries: Document Verification
Due to Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) restrictions, Civic Wallet is unsupported for nationals and residents of the following countries: Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, South Sudan, Sudan, and Crimea region of Ukraine.
We also do not support document verification for the following regions: Afghanistan, Belarus, China, Democratic Republic of Congo, Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), Iran, Iraq, Libya, Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), North Korea, Russia, and Syria.
Unsupported Countries: Sending and Receiving Crypto
Nationals and residents of the following countries are restricted from creating a crypto account in Civic Wallet: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bolivia, Burundi, Cambodia, Central African Republic, China, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Crimea region of Ukraine, Vietnam, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.
