You are seeing this message because your IP address appears to be making use of a VPN, or because your proxy, network, or firewall settings are obscuring your IP. Civic Pass cannot be issued if your IP cannot be verified.
To resolve this issue, please try the following steps:
Step 1: Turn off any VPNs or similar tools

Disable your VPN if you're using one.

Check your proxy, network, and firewall settings to ensure they are not interfering with your IP address visibility.
Step 2: Try different network and device options
If the issue continues after switching off your VPN and checking your settings, try the following:

Connect to a different Wi-Fi network.

Try using your mobile data instead of Wi-Fi.
-
Use a different web browser.
-
Use a different device.
Step 3: Check proxy settings on Chrome

Open your Chrome browser.

Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select Settings.

Scroll down and click on Advanced.

Under the System section, click Open your computer’s proxy settings.

In the Internet Properties dialog box, go to the Connections tab.

Click LAN settings.

Uncheck both Automatically detect settings and Use a proxy server for your LAN.

Click OK to save changes.
Step 4: Verify your current setup
You can check if you’re using a VPN, proxy, or firewall that may be affecting your IP at the following website: https://vpnapi.io/.
