How do I get a Civic Pass using my mobile device?

Before you begin the process of getting, using or refreshing your Civic Pass, please make sure you meet the requirements first. 

 

iOS devices:

 

Solana (via Phantom Wallet)

You can get your Civic Pass issued on Solana using your iOS device in 3 easy steps:

  1. Install Phantom Wallet App: Create a new Solana wallet or recover your existing one using your recovery phrase.

  2. Fund Your Wallet: Make sure you have enough funds in your Phantom Solana to cover the fees. You can deposit SOL via bank transfer in-app or send from another Solana wallet.

  3. Get Your Civic Pass: Use the browser inside the Phantom app to visit the project website or dApp or go directly to https://getpass.civic.com. Connect your wallet and follow the on-screen instructions.

 

EVM Chains (Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum, Polygon, and more)

To get a Civic Pass on EVM, use Metamask or Phantom on iOS:

  1. Install Metamask or Phantom: Create a new EVM wallet or recover your existing one using the recovery phrase.

    1. Fund Your Wallet: Make sure you have enough funds in your Phantom Solana to cover the fees. You can deposit SOL via bank transfer in-app or send from another Solana wallet. For example send POL to your Polygon wallet to get a Civic Pass on Polygon.

  2. Get Your Civic Pass: Open the browser inside the Metamask wallet app and go to the project's website or dApp or go directly to https://getpass.civic.com. Connect your wallet and follow the instructions.

 

Android devices: 

Solana (via Solflare + Google Chrome)

To get a Civic Pass on Solana using Android:

  1. Visit the project's website, app or dApp: Use Google Chrome to go to the dApp or go to https://getpass.civic.com.

  2. Connect Solflare Wallet

    • Click ‘Connect’, select Civic Pass type and Solana network

    • Choose ‘Solflare’ and select ‘Use Web Wallet’

    • Create or recover your Solflare wallet

    • Create a password and open the wallet (leave it open in background)

  3. Fund Your Wallet: Deposit funds via Solflare app or send SOL from another Solana wallet.

  4. Complete the Process: Return to the Civic Pass page and follow the instructions. You may need to toggle between the Civic site and your open wallet.

 

EVM Chains (Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum, Polygon, and more)

(via Metamask + Google Chrome)

  1. Set Up Metamask App: Add your preferred blockchain network and create or restore your EVM wallet using your recovery phrase.

  2. Go to the website: Open Google Chrome. Go to the website or dApp or https://getpass.civic.com. Connect Your Wallet: Choose your Civic Pass type and network. Click ‘Connect’, select WalletConnect then Metamask. You’ll be redirected to Metamask where you must Tap Sign to connect your wallet.

  3. Get Your Civic Pass: Go back to Chrome and follow the on-screen instructions to get, use or refreshh your Civic Pass.
